it's a good narrative for a video game — and is actually ongoing. I really like the "retconning" aspect of how the new updates are from the "SOMEONE ELSE did this thing... now go kill these other "players" — which my husband finds frustrating — because it sort of makes the "instancing" feel like part of the universe, insofar as maybe the portals have a sort of random chance of sending you into a different universe.
- it stays away from being boring pseudo europe, the setting is very distinct... because while being based on europe it's not actually sterotypical, it embraces the diversity _in_ europe?
