I had absolutely zero desire to play catch and release games with mice. My ancestors have been at battling rodent kind since the dawn of agriculture and I had no intention of chickening out of doing my part for the war effort now that I've been called to the front lines.

* Meta: Mouse infestation when they start trying to form a new node and don't have wards yet. Pet, traps, poison? Some kind of magic creature thing going on, or would it be funnier if they were just normal mice or rats which follow humans everywhere. Then could have them attracting magic snakes, or magic owls or whatever terrifying thing I can dream up. A good opportunity to draw from personal experiences because fuck these miiiiiice and incompetent exterminators. Good segue to either a "have you ever had to deal with anything as mundane as mice before, princess?" Convo, of "have you ever killed anything" convo depending on placement, but I should deffo repackage the bella teaching me to hunt story for Meghana.
