With the availability of ebooks it's now possible to read this old series and honestly I recommend it as a great way to get perspective on previous culture in a way that's a little less fraught than some of the grand masters. Nobody has accused the author of racism or sexism and it occupies such a tiny, forgotten niche, but honestly the juveniles are so fun!
