In the same vein as how [Hawkeye was for a long time my favorite avenger because he's a good dad](https://eleanorkonik.com/heroes-and-parenting/), Hestia is my favorite Greek god because she's powerful, worshipped across the whole culture, and doesn't have any horrible myths. The main thing she's known for is giving up her seat to Dionysus when he got powerful (arriving as an imported cult from the east) to avoid conflict. She was widely worshipped but doesn't get talked about much because she was low-key and didn't involve herself in dumb drama.
Really reminds me of the Heinlein "how can you argue with a woman who won't" quote?
