Talk about how the morals of Disney are something I pay attention to. Kids books. Maybe the tenth or eleventh nonfic book review? Evaluate the moral of all the short stories in purple book. Disney a master of bundling - first corp to do all that stuff. Disney was a great dad. Daughter did a biography and really liked him. So few entrepreneurs and politicians and stuff are. Riff of Obama. --- Founders content is good target audience (founders) and good emotional content. --- Belief comes before ability is a recurring element of founder's notes. --- Imagining your success is a common method used by Disney, Spielberg, etc. It's like affirmations. Sounds hokey, probably does work? Or survivorship bias? This interesting thing about this for me is definitely that Disney has 2 modes; family and work. Doesn't socialize much, works and spends time with his family. No hobbies. Maybe my USP is analyzing all of these hugely special people from the pov of “were they a good dad” E.g. Montessori was not a good mom! Socrates? Bleh. On finding good heroes for my kids. Don't trust philosophical thinkers who don't have the life you want. not pirates, even if you sympathize with them, ref: conversation with Rob and chinese vs. raiders (pre-huns book!) People think that in order to be a successful business person, you have to sacrifice your personal life but Elon Musk is successful but also very dysfunctional and I think that it is a mistake to believe that success requires dysfunction in the same way that we have this idea that so many really intelligent people have autistic social skills or are ugly and awful. But those are in fact, outliers IQ is highly coordinated to not just attractiveness but also faster reaction times and athleticism. See also: Disney founders podcast!
